You can hunt through TJ Maxx and find a nice shirt for $15 and be done in half an hour, but you can find all sorts of crazy, exciting stuff at your garden variety Salvation Army, etc, that you could never find at a chain. You can also choose hues of red, orange and yellow to bring out a feeling of joy and excitement. Pastels in pink and blue can work very well in jewelry logos. Go with a relevant color scheme that makes the brand symbol memorable and timeless.

A thrift store, to me at least, is a place for donated/neglected clothing sold at an extremely deep discount, wherein most of the stuff is total and complete crap. When you are satisfied with the final results, you can get your jewelry logo free in minutes. Is it just me, or is an entire generation of Americans under the false presumption that TJ Maxx and Marshalls are "thrift stores"? That kind of makes me sad.ĭoes it really matter? I don't understand why that would make you sad.īut I think the larger point is that yes, Marshall's is a place to get a deal, but it's getting a deal on corporate rejects corporate stuff that was approved by some manager somewhere to be released at deep discount.
